“It was everyone’s task to detect new visual artists, reach out to renowned ones, and place diverse generations into a dialogue, connecting emerging and established talents. This was an aim, a working principle, and it was our goal to elaborate a model with a Latin American contour, but not limited to it, or better yet, make a statement that demanded the incorporation of the other in order to fully grasp that contour…

“Out of the generosity of many artists who collaborated with Point of Contact, a collection began to grow, which, through the years took a peculiar form. It does not respond to the usual criteria of art collections, such as periods, geographies, or artistic tendencies, but rather it unites a well-defined cultural calling, an almost romantic faith in the aesthetic experience as our main redeemer.”
Ana Tiscornia, 2015

Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY, and later moved to the Nancy Cantor Warehouse at 350 W Fayette Street in 2013. Point of Contact Gallery is dedicated to the exploration of contemporary verbal and visual arts, with an emphasis on Latin American artists and writers.
