Point of Contact‘s annual poetry collection Corresponding Voices, and its poetry reading series Cruel April are a showcase of widely diverse poetic voices to be understood individually and in their textual interactions across cultures and languages. The loosely defined borders allow for the dialogue between poets and translators to occupy a central role.

Point of Contact, previously a literary journal, was founded by the late Syracuse University Professor Pedro Cuperman in 1975. To this day, the book series serves as a venue for creative scholarship and original art.
